Countdown Commence

2 weeks left of school, but only one week left of classes. I don't think it's a good thing when I almost began to sleep during my Global Politics class. I did take notes though. Chemistry lab final was unexciting and I majorly guessed on two questsions. It's only worth the equivalent of one lab. Don't stress. Yeah, right!

So, I will survive on the next two weeks with Facebook and my chemistry book. Get ready to lose my sanity! Argh!

Above is a recent dub I'm in as Maimi Yajima. Full cast is below. This song is Campus Life ~Umaretekite Yokatta~ originally by: C-ute. This group is called °Ki-rei, a group under Hana Pro Indies, and our first single was SHOCK! Our dub came out the same day as the cd for C-ute was released for both our projects. Thanks Kappa for mixing and doing the lyrics for this dub. It was well worth it!

CAST:
Suzuki Airi : Nagi [ telenagikinetic ]
Yajima Maimi : Purply [ purplywater ]
Hagiwara Mai : Aoi [ chocolateblakberri ]
Nakajima Saki : Rae [ singingondemand ]
Okai Chisato : Kappa [ xmikipinkux ]

Mixer: Kappa
MP3: http://www.box.net/shared/60fv4av4d3

I decided to share this since I usually never, I repeat, NEVER do C-ute dubs. It was an interesting change and I got to do my own spin on Maimi.

Anyway, Kappa is the Leader and Producer of Hana Project. The super awesome group that cover Hello! Project and other Jpop groups. Keep rocking, Hana Pro!

Opening Weekend of a Musical

This week has all been dedicated to Thoroughly Modern Millie. Rehearsals all week then three shows this weekend. Running around a lot backstage, moving set pieces, changing costumes, applying lipstickk, and looking like I'm from the 20's. Normal stuff! This show has been a lot of fun and instead of being on stage like I was in Grease I got to re-experience the aspects of being in the chorus.

Chorus Life:
1. Working as a team in a production.
2. Not being upset over what role you got. It's the fact that you are in the show is the big matter and being a great supporting cast to the Leads helps them tremendously and makes the show that much better.
3. Rising above attitudes.
4. Moving set pieces. The door does not like me sometimes and decides to get stuck. Urgh!
5. Meeting a lot of different people who love Theatre as much as you do.

This is also my first show where I got to wear a wig. It's more of a hair piece but meh. Details, details. I thought the opening weekend performances were pretty good. Well, from what I could hear, more like. haha

Three more weekends, and I plan to make my character Cora, a Hotel Priscilla Girl, better each night. Like Stacie and I say: Fighting!

I'm also trying to survive the Finals Crunch month, mostly for Chemistry, Philosophy, and Physics. Let the battle begin! I can take them on!
